Product Characteristics

PEARLSIL 7000 Series is a silicone resin micropowder used as an additive in plastics, rubber, and coatings, providing the following properties:

Excellent hydrophobicity

Excellent lubricity

Lower density than inorganic powders

Better heat resistance than organic resin powders

Insoluble in organic solvents

Low adhesion

Does not melt even when heated to 900°C, with less than 5% weight loss at 400°C

Retains true spherical silica particles after calcination

Narrow particle size distribution

Product Applications  

• Rubber industry: Improves surface smoothness of rubber and enhances wear resistance.
• Coatings and inks: Adjusts gloss, color vividness, prevents caking, and improves abrasion resistance.
• Synthetic resins: Enhances wear resistance of synthetic resins such as epoxy, acrylic, polyester, and ABS; prevents caking; improves smoothness; maintains transparency of plastic films like PE and PP.
• Others: Improves dispersion and flowability of pigments and ceramic powders; prevents agglomeration.
• Cosmetics: Silky feel agent, filler (evaluate suitability carefully if intended for use).
• Lighting industry: LED light diffuser

After calcination in air, the PEARLSIL 7000 Series turns into silica with altered particle size depending on the calcination temperature, but retains its true spherical shape.

Packaging and Storage

• This product is packaged in 20 kg cartons, with a net weight of 20 kg per carton.
• When stored sealed at room temperature and protected from direct sunlight, the product has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of production.

This product should be stored sealed at room temperature. Before use, customers should carefully read the product information, Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), and labels. Wear dust masks, protective goggles, and gloves. Be familiar with the product's safety information, handling instructions, environmental impact, and use appropriate personal protective equipment as required.
